Sweet Sixteen Contestants: Official Hostesses of the Reunion
The Sweet Sixteen contestants serve as the official hostesses of the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. These dedicated young women volunteer in various roles throughout the grounds, assisting guests, answering questions, and supporting our many non-profit organizations’ booths. Their contributions are judged on several factors, including their volunteer efforts, a formal presentation and interview, knowledge of Old Threshers, and overall hospitality.
You’ll spot the Sweet Sixteen contestants in action during the Harvest Parade, at the Carousel, in the Paul Anderson Building, and strolling the grounds in period attire inspired by Midwest farm life for women in the late 1800s to early 1900s.

Requirements:
- Participants must be 16 years old during the 2025 Reunion (August 28 – September 1, 2025).
